Bitterroot Valley ULUG: viability, location, etc?

I have been a Fedora desktop and LAMP user since FC5, for about two years now. My interest has recently turned to Ubuntu/Kubuntu and I must say I am impressed with it's ease of use.

I read that Missoula has a LUG up and running as well as a thread posted in the Montana Team section in this forum.

Is there any interest in starting a LUG in the Florence, Stevi, Corvallis, Hamilton, Darby area centered initially on Ubuntu style linux? If so, please share your ideas in this thread.

Love your cat picture. Unfortunately, I left the Florence area about 4 yrs ago. Something about that commute on 93 with 25000 of my close friends and neighbors. I hope that you are successful in getting a group started.
