Hope your ok and the problems in kenya not affectingyou. So which ubuntu cd are you after? ubuntu kubuntu xubuntu ubuntu studio (multimedia based version of ubuntu) or linux mint which is based on ubuntu but comes with multimedia stuff already installed?

I personally would recommend mint or ubuntu studio as it has so much stuff in it already installed which otherwise you would probably have to download and knowing the internet connections in kenya it will probably take years!!

Thanks sagar . The problems in Kenya did not affect me personnaly but i know so many people who were affected: many lost property and were displaced and few of them got killed. Also i cannot travel freelly. Thanks for your concern. We hope things will got better soon I would prefer your recommendations about ubuntu which you had suggested. please if would sent to me use the following addreess
