Hi guys my name is Dan, I'm from Connecticut. I am new to Linux and Ubuntu, After installing Ubuntu onto my computer I can't figure out how to get my sound working, I have downloaded my sound card driver, but I have trouble installing it. Can someone please try to help me i have a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtremegamer sound card

I'm not really an authority, but I googled sound blaster linux and found this page that seemed pretty interesting. once again I don't have a sound blaster, but I hope this helps.

I have the sound card driver downloaded, and its the version made for linux as well, I just don't know how to install the driver =[

Hey Dan, (nice name, happens to be mine too)

I'd post your problem in the General Help or Beginner's forum. Be sure to include a link to the driver and any documentation that it has, and I'd willing to bet that someone will have it up for you in no time.
