Hi, I'm not even sure if this is the right place to be posting this but I wanted to make a program that would be like pen flicks in windows vista but for Ubuntu. I would probably write in c++ but I don't know how to make a program that would be able to listen in on pen events and determine what window is in and such. I wanted to see if anyone with more experience programming would be interested in helping me out with this. I know what I want the program to do, but I don't know how to start. Can anybody help me out with this or point me in the right direction of who I may want to talk to you?

I'd also like to get pen flicks working on Ubuntu. I tried running Pen Flicks Demo on Wine. I couldn't get it to run. However, if your still interested in trying to get it working. This site may be of benefit to you. It may be of use in the writing of code or something. Keep me posted on the progress.

Hi ProgressionMurph and CBribiescas,

You might want to check out Tom Jaeger's easystroke.

To get it: [http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=229797&package_id=278455&release_id=682157]](http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=229797&package_id=278455&release_id=682157])

Some documentation: http://easystroke.wiki.sourceforge.net/Documentation-0.2

And his forum thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=837032

I hope this is useful.
