hi,

both worked perfectly in hoary, but since version 0.8.4 in breezy the gtk2-ui seems to be broken.

1) Please stop using caps

2) In Breezy the wxgtk used was switched BACK to 2.4 from 2.6 because of breakage issues. The Backports VLC will switch back to 2.6

VLC already done for Backports.

I see the backport in: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/v/vlc/ but not listed in: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/breezy-backports/universe/binary-i386/Packages.gz nor in synaptic.

Any thoughts?
