I'm posting here because this forum seems to be the most alive.

I had everything running great for about half a year now. Then I installed a new xfx 8600 512 mb video card. Runs great. Then I tried to reboot and forgot to take the usb stick out.

Now I get a constant "ntldr missing...press cntrl-alt-del" I'm using a dual boot sata system. But it was fine 10 min ago. Can anyone help before I reinstall my linux systems? I using the Live CD right now.

You can boot a Mandriva CD in rescue mode (any Free or Powerpack set's first disc has the rescue mode, or you can just burn boot.iso, that has it too) and select the option to re-install the bootloader. That should hopefully do it.
